Garhwa court at a glance
Garhwa Civil Court is situated on the southern side of NH-75 (Garhwa- Nagar Untari Road) at a distance of about 200 meters from Collectorate. The entire Court Campus is situated within approximately five acres of land and Comprises five Court buildings namely PDJ establishment, Fast Track Court building, Six court building ,old four court building and New Court building. Old and New Court Hazat and Sub-Judge building is also situated within the premises. New Court building, Mediation centre and New Court Hazat of Civil Court, Garhwa has been inaugurated on 14th day of May, 2016.
Presently Garhwa Judgeship consists of sixteen Judicial Officers. One in the cadre of Principal District Judge i.e. Principal District and Sessions Judge, seven in the cadre of District Judge, three in the cadre of Civil Judge (Sr. Div.) i.e. C.J.M,A.C.J.M. & Secretary DLSA, two in the cadre of Civil Judge (Jr. Div.) i.e. S.D.J.M.-cum-P.M.J.J. Board, Civil Judge (Jr.Div.)-cum-Judicial Magistrate-cum-Judge-in-Charge & three Trainee Magistrates. As regards the ministerial staffs, currently 73 Class-III employees (including Assistant, Assistant-cum- Typist-DLSA , Assistant-cum- Typist-Copyist ,stenographers, Deposition Typist (Hindi) & Drivers) against the sanctioned strength of 86 (including Assistant, Assistant-cum- Typist-DLSA , Assistant-cum- Typist-Copyist ,stenographers, Deposition Typist (Hindi) & Drivers), and 40 Class-IV employees against the sanctioned strength of 50 are working with Garhwa Civil Court.
